Atlantic Scale Company is a family owned and operated organization that was founded in 1979. We have a history of providing quality weighing products and calibration services to various types of industries. We have specialized in servicing GMP and GLP facilities since the beginning and our systems have matured within these guidelines. We currently perform calibration and service on scales, balances, weights, pipettes, thermometers, hygrometers, pressure gauges, flow devices, watches, electrical meters, force gauges, and dimensional equipment for over 2000 companies per year. We have a an employee base of over 60 industry professionals, which includes approximately 40 qualified technicians, 6 technical mangers, 5 customer service representatives, 4 service managers, 35 quick-response vehicles, and 9 industrial trucks.

We have always strived to be the best service provider win the eyes of our customers and have steadily grown our calibration, service, and repair capabilities. With the growing concern over increasing numbers of vendors and decreasing budget sizes, many of our customers let us know that they wished we provided a one company solution to all their calibration needs. With this idea, Atlantic Scale Company began its development of an Industrial and Laboratory Instrumentation Calibration Division in 2004.

Atlantic Scale Company, Instrumentation Division laboratory was built and designed from scratch to be a primary standards laboratory. We did not re-design corporate offices to try to meet the grueling parameters required for a world class testing and calibration facility. The new laboratory construction incorporates the latest technology to minimize external influences, ensure stability, and control environmental conditions to achieve the high level of accuracy for which we strive. The new laboratory is constructed and staffed to be highly efficient to decrease turn around and limit client down time. We provide calibration and repair services to our customers in either our own environmentally controlled laboratory facility or on-site at their location.

ISO9001:2000 - Atlantic Scale Company has been ISO9000 registered since 1995. The current ISO9001:2000 registration has been extended to the Instrumentation Laboratory in 2007.

ISO/IEC17025:2005 - We have also been an ISO/IEC17025 accredited company since 2000. The current ISO/IEC17025:2005 & & ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994 accreditation was extended to the Instrumentation Laboratory in 2008.

This registration and accreditation ensures that you receive the highest available calibration accuracy based on national and international standards. Our calibrations services are performed by trained technicians utilizing the best equipment available. All calibrations are directly traceable to NIST or another NMI.
